Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2024 Netball Season for Umpiring

Our umpires are more than just whistle blowers. They’re on the court to keep the game fair and make sure everyone gets to play netball in a friendly, safe and fun way. There’s some added bonuses too – you’ll be part of a vibrant netball community and get pretty fit. And, you don’t need to be a netball expert. We’ll give you everything you need to understand the game and keep things fair.

Umpiring provides so much more that just the ability to officiate a game, it has so many other benefits.
Builds Confidence
Builds Knowledge of the Game
Builds Communication Skills
Grows Resilience
Amps Up Leadership Skills

If you haven't completed an online Exam for Umpiring this will be your first step to becoming an umpire - Here is the link to start your Umpiring Journey - https://netball.com.au/umpiring-accreditation

We will be running a beginner Umpire Session ( required to attend before umpiring games on a Saturday) in March before the season kicks off. We will confirm the date once we secure a person to run the session.

Please email Fiona if you wish to begin your Umpire Journey in 2024

Getting Involved as a Volunteer!

Volunteers contribute to the social and economic value of sport, especially at the community level. Many sports and sporting organisations would not be able to run without volunteers who fill many critical roles, including coaches, Officials , managers, administrator, board and committee members. If you would like to know how you can get involved we would love to hear from you.
